Single-Cam GT-R Clone – Still Beautiful

Single-Cam GT-R Clone – Still Beautiful

1971 Nissan Skyline

We’ve seen a couple of these C10-generation Skylines over the last year – all of them built as clones of the legendary “Hakosuka” Skyline, which would be powered by a twin-cam inline-six breathing through a trio of sidedraft carburetors.

Today’s feature is yet another – yes, also painted silver – of these clones, this time powered by an L28 single-cam six cylinder, with triple Mikuni carburetors. The same L28 as found in the 280Z  – so maintenance parts won’t be tough to source. We love that this car has appropriately-sized Watanabe alloy wheels – 14″ is a perfect size for a vintage sports car.

It’s on eBay in Washington for $70k or offer.
