Pushrods? We Don’t Need No Stinking Pushrods!

1991 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1

Indeed, this 1991 ZR1 is the only Corvette to be powered by an overhead cam engine – the somewhat-legendary four-cam LT5, designed by Lotus and built by Mercury Marine. 375hp was a big jump over the standard 250hp – but it doubled the sticker price of the base ‘Vette.

This one looks to have beenĀ used, rather than put away like so many limited-production cars. It’s not perfect, as the leather seats have cracks, and some material has come off the shift knob. Still, it’s a solid car that could easily be restored, and it’s priced remarkably well for such a icon of the early ’90s.

It’s on eBay in Texas for $18k or offer.
