1986 Shelby GLHS
Yeah, that’s what GLHS stands for – it’s a limited-production upgrade from the already-quick Omni GLH. 175hp and 175 lb-ft of torque is stout for the mid-’80s in a front-drive, lightweight compact – and there is plenty of room for more performance if one were so inclined.
We’d suggest, however, that you put away these wheels and tires if you are going to do anything but keep it in a museum – the seller notes that they are the originals from 1986! Thirty years of dry-rot do not a safe tire make. Other than that, and the malfunctioning radio, this is stunning.
