1965 Rambler Classic 550
When building custom lowriders, most enthusiasts choose recognizable, mainstream classics – especially the iconic Impala. Not this one – this is a car in which the entire family can bounce along, low and slow.
Slow is certain here – the Rambler inline six, paired with a three speed manual on the column, is no high-performance engine. But that’s not the point – it’s all about the look, which is stellar. The contrasting Torq-Thrust wheels look magnificent against the light-gold paint. The only thing we’d change are the exposed air compressors – those really should be hidden from the cargo area.
It’s on eBay on Long Island for $12,500 or offer.
