You’ll Never Guess Where The Engine Is!

1988 Zimmer Quicksilver

Unless you’ve read the April 1987 Car and Driver, or a recent feature on Road & Track.com, you won’t.

Yup, it’s based on the mid-engined Fiero. No, this Zimmer Quicksilver is not a kit – it’s a custom build, with a stretched wheelbase and a highly-restyled body – these were $50,000 cars when a Fiero cost around $12k. Plenty of luxury is everywhere – from the wire wheels to the opulent bordello red interior.

It’s not for everyone, but it is indeed unusual.

It’s on eBay in Virginia with reserve not yet met.1988 Zimmer Quicksilver engine 1988 Zimmer Quicksilver white rear quarter 1988 Zimmer Quicksilver white rear 1988 Zimmer Quicksilver interior
