Muscle, Perfected

1966 Pontiac GTO

Some may argue for others as the original muscle car – the Hudson Hornet, Chrysler’s letter cars, or even the various supercharged Studebakers certainly qualify. But most point to the the GTO as the first.

This ’66 convertible is very nearly perfect. The seller notes a couple blemishes on the ragtop – but otherwise, it’s a concours-quality restoration, having been certified by several Pontiac-specific clubs. There can be few better than this. We’d love to get a chance to open up those three two-barrel carbs and go for a drive.

It’s on eBay in Ohio for $75k or offer.
