Dial “M” For (Le) Mans

The Fifties must have been an awesome time to buy a sports car. One could go to a dealership and buy the same basic car that would run at big-name races like the Le Mans 24 hours. This Austin Healey 100 was modified with a factory-provided kit to match the race winner’s specifications, including big carburetors and a high-performance cam – and is thus a 100M.

It’s in stunning condition, with plenty of paperwork to back up the original configuration and the new spec. Just buy a pair of goggles to wear, and keep that windscreen folded down.

It’s on eBay in Dallas for $85k or offer.
