Imagine If We’d Never Had The Volkswagen – No Kit Cars?

1975 Bradley GT

It boggles the mind. Would we all be driving unbelievably slow Citroen 2CV-based dunebuggies?

The Bradley GT is likely one of the most well-known VW-based kits, beyond the Meyers Manx. It’s more of a sports car compared to the buggy style Manx, with styling inspired by CanAm racers of the day. This one looks pretty clean, with beautiful rootbeer-colored paint. It needs some fiberglass repair, and based on the corrosion on the T-shaped shift knob it may have been sitting outside for some time, but it shouldn’t take much to get right.

It’s on eBay in coastal North Carolina with reserve not yet met.
