1979 Ford Fiesta
While it was beaten to market (at least outside the US) by the Volkswagen GTI, the Ford Fiesta was, when properly optioned, a true hot hatch.
This one has been massaged a bit with a bigger Weber carburetor and matching long-runner intake, a free-flowing header and exhaust, and a high-performance suspension with shorter springs mounted with Koni shocks. The dark grey Minilite-style Enkei alloys are a perfect complement to the silver painted body, as well.
Check out those striped seats, too! Too bad no manufacturers are this bold with their interiors anymore.
This author is seriously considering finding a hiding place for this beauty – it’s small, so he might be able to hide it from his wife.
