1971 Mercury Capri
The nearly ubiquitous Chevrolet LSx engine family seems to pop up in every car imaginable. It’s lightweight, powerful, compact, and reliable – meaning it’s the perfect choice for nearly any swap candidate.
Including, apparently, Fords.
This Mercury Capri, with a short wheelbase and a rather light weight, has to be a handful with this turbocharged LS V8. No power numbers are quoted, but it should produce well over 400hp. That’s terrifying. Thankfully, the cage looks mighty stout.
It’s on Grassroots Motorsports in Maryland for $10,500 or offer.
