Glorious Example Of A Japanese-Market Executive Sedan

1984 Nissan Gloria

No, this isn’t a Maxima..though from several angles it does resemble a mashup of both the first and second generation cars. It’s the Gloria, Nissan’s Japan-market rear-drive sedan from the same era.

This one looks magnificent, especially hunkered down over the BBS basketweave alloy wheels. We especially love the pillarless hardtop look on this example. The factory window curtains are a bit cheesy, as are the doilies that protect the tops of the seatbacks, but they are typical for higher-end Japanese sedans of the time. We might choose a different steering wheel than the small-diameter wood-rimmed Nardi, as well, as it seems out of character for this sedan. Otherwise, this is awesome.

It’s on eBay in Oakland with no reserve.1984 Nissan Gloria engine 1984 Nissan Gloria interior 1984 Nissan Gloria dash 1984 Nissan Gloria black rear quarter
