About As Cheap As An Aircooled 911 Gets Anymore

1981 Porsche 911SC

Save some truly ratty cars, we are looking at a price floor of around $25k or so for a solid 911 as collectors start to price entry-level enthusiasts out of the market.

This looks to be a good one, with minimal modifications beyond the aftermarket stereo and the inexplicably-still-present built-in car phone. The red leather shift boot and knob look out of place in the two-tone brown and tan interior, too. We’d hope we could come up with better rear speaker mounting solutions, as well – but these are easily correctible flaws. This is a beauty.

It’s on eBay near Columbus for $30k or offer.
