Not Quite An M5, But Much More Unusual

Not Quite An M5, But Much More Unusual

1989 Alpina B10 3,5/1

Alpina has been a significant presence in the BMW tuning market for five decades, building cars that have full warranties, sold through standard BMW dealers with an Alpina VIN. This E34-based B10 3,5/1 is a great find, one that was originally built for the Japanese market.

It should put out around 250hp – an improvement from the standard 535i, but not quite the power found in the raucous M5. It’s certainly more exclusive, and the Alpina striping and the iconic alloy wheels make this truly cool. This one isn’t perfect, with some paint blemishes and missing clearcoat, but it will turn heads at any event you attend.

It’s on eBay┬ánear Chicago with reserve not yet met.1989 Alpina B10 35 1 engine 1989 Alpina B10 35 1 interior
