A Bird Needs Wings, Right? Shall This Be Called The Thundergull?

A Bird Needs Wings, Right? Shall This Be Called The Thundergull?

1986 Ford Thunderbird

A few months back, we featured an ’80s-vintage Mazda RX7 that had been customized with gullwing doors, and then basically left to rot. Here, we have another gullwing car from the same manufacturer, and same seller.

This time, the victim lucky car is a Thunderbird, powered by the venerable 2.3 turbo four. Only 601 miles have turned beneath the tires, so everything is basically as it was when new. The story on these cars is the company building the customs didn’t do particularly well, and these are the leftovers that were purchased by a collector, hoping to turn a profit.

The car’s certainly unusual, and there are some T-Bird collectors out there that might have an interest.

It’s on eBay in California for $20k or offer.1986 Ford Thunderbird engine 1986 Ford Thunderbird advert
