Somehow Escaped The Tuner Era With No Vinyl Stickers Whatsoever

1992 Acura Integra GS-R

They were everywhere in 2002. Compact Japanese hatchbacks began to sprout vinyl “sponsor” stickers everywhere, as well as coffee can sized mufflers that did little to muffle the flatulent sounds from the “tuned” four cylinder engines. Blame Paul Walker and Vin Diesel.

This Integra GS-R made it through the era unscathed, however, and is in remarkably clean condition. The paint looks to be solid, without the peeling clearcoat that seems to doom cars of the era. The B17 engine produces 160hp, which is quite stout for a 1.7 liter four cylinder. These are unbelievably fun to toss into corners, and should remain well sought after for years as long as it is maintained.

It’s on Craigslist in Austin for $6500 or offer.1992 Acura Integra GSR interior 1992 Acura Integra GSR engine 1992 Acura Integra GSR red profile
