Face it, all old cars need to be worked on periodically. For someone just getting started in this hobby, doesn’t it make sense to begin with a car that had over half a million built, so parts will be plentiful and cheap? The MGB is dead simple to work on, too, though by the time this was built there were some emissions bits that could cause a few headaches. The handsome Rostyle wheels are lower maintenance than wire wheels, too.
Really, other than the saggy door cards, this looks magnificent. A soft top will need to be fitted eventually, but those are simple and cheap to replace. We love it.
