Drive The Kids To School In A Unicorn

2003 Mercedes-Benz C240

Here at Car Of The Day, we love wagons. While we do have SUVs and vans in our stables, the utility of a wagon paired with the driving dynamics of a family sedan are always appealing. Thus, when a faithful reader pointed out this unusual wagon (thanks, Karl!) we took notice immediately. And started scrounging through the couch cushions.

Alone, the W203-chassis Mercedes-Benz C-class isn’t particularly remarkable or odd – even as a wagon. But that third pedal and manual shift lever change the game completely. We’d have to believe that only a couple hundred of these were ever built, making this a very rare option package. No, it’ won’t win trophies at the next autocross, or be a great track-day toy, but it will make taking the long way home from soccer practice a rewarding experience.

It’s on Craigslist in Greensboro for $5500 or offer.2003 Mercedes-Benz C240 interior 2003 Mercedes-Benz C240 engine 2003 Mercedes-Benz C240 black rear quarter 2003 Mercedes-Benz C240 black profile
