Can A Front-Drive Roadster Really Handle As Well As A Lotus Should?

1991 Lotus Elan

We’ve not had the pleasure of time behind the wheel of the M-100 chassis Elan, but from all reports, this is a stellar-handling sports car, no matter the drive wheels. Some of the excellence, we’re sure, is due to the short wheelbase and relatively wide track, but Lotus has long been the standard for great handling.

We’d concur with the seller – this is quite likely the best Elan in the country. It is effectively flawless – not surprising, considering that it’s covered less than seventeen thousand miles. It’s had a couple of upgrades to the brakes and shifter, as well as later model alloys fitted. Let us know if you need help putting miles on the odometer..the COTD crew would be happy to do so.

It’s on eBay in Colorado with reserve not yet met.1991 Lotus Elan engine 1991 Lotus Elan yellow profile 1991 Lotus Elan interior
