1966 Ford Mustang GT
We refer, of course, to the letter K in the fifth position of the VIN, which specified the “Hi-Po” 289 V8 – a relatively rare, somewhat pricey option (an additional $443 per Ate Up With Motor) that added a good bit of power to the early Mustang. The GT package added some subtle styling details that set the car apart.
This one has been thoroughly restored, as there is no way it’s been kept in near-showroom condition for over fifty years. Either way, it’s gorgeous, and should quickly find a happy buyer.
