A Future Classic With No Reserve

A Future Classic With No Reserve

1987 Honda CRX Si

Really, when’s the last time you’ve spotted one of these first-generation CRXes that wasn’t totally thrashed? This lightweight hot hatch uses plastic fenders and other panels that tend to become quite brittle with age. We’ve heard of autocrossers who’ve punted a cone in one of these early cars, only to see their precious fender shatter.

This one is gorgeous. It has a few minor flaws, including a cracked windshield, but these are all minor nits to be picked. We’ve seen other Japanese sports cars of the ’80s rising in value over the last few years, so this is sure to follow.

It’s on eBay in New Jersey with no reserve.
