1998 Lotus Esprit V8
For nearly thirty years, Lotus built a wedge-shaped mid-engined sports car named the Esprit. As with almost anything that lasts that long, though, the car evolved greatly over the years. From a four-cylinder powered sportscar in the early days, to a turbocharged high-performance icon in the ’80s (like one we featured a few weeks ago), to the supercar seen here today, the Esprit has seen some remarkable transformations.
This Esprit V8 has clearly been pampered, with only around thirty thousand on the odometer. The seller has a stack of receipts and records, including a recent timing belt service and an upgraded transmission, and adjustable Koni shocks. This is perfection.
It’s on eBay in upstate New York with no reserve.
