1962 Ford Fairlane 500
The big Fairlane is a somewhat surprising choice for a track-day car – it’s long and heavy, two attributes less than ideal for a car meant to stop, turn, and go quickly. But this looks so good, and we’re sure is plenty fun to drive.
Torq-Thrust wheels make a big difference, especially when wrapped in sticky Hoosier tires. The rollcage looks stout, and everything in the interior and under the hood looks so tidy. This might ruffle some feathers at a cruise-in, but we’d love it.
It’s on eBay in Nevada with reserve not yet met.
