1993 Acura Integra GS-R
This may look like the average old Integra sitting rotting on the street..but it’s something special. The GS-R model, for this second-generation (DA-chassis in Hondaspeak) was the limited edition, top-of-the-line performance car. Most importantly, it was the second car to be sold to the American public (after the high-buck NSX) with variable valve timing, or VTEC. This gave the small twin-cam engine a kick of power at the top end, making drivers feel like an F1 or Superbike racer on their commute.
This one’s not perfect–a few interior blemishes and faded paint mar the car a bit–but most of these have seen the dark side of a NOPI catalog with ill-advised “tuning” parts, so a clean car is a treat.
It’s on eBay in Charlotte with no reserve.
