1970 Datsun 240Z
They sure used some funky paint colors back in the day, huh? Not like today, when most choices are limited to four shades of grey/silver, a white, a black, and maybe red.
This first-year Z looks to have been nicely preserved and lightly restored, with a recent engine rebuild by a respected shop. A five-speed transmission, slotted alloy wheels (frequently installed by the dealer when new) and smaller, European-style bumpers appear to be the only deviations from stock — all modifications frequently found among the best Z’s in the market. This looks nearly perfect.
