1972 Datsun 240Z
The extended bumper–known as the G-nose–found on this car was a Japanese-market factory option, and was quite popular. Many of these have been brought over to US-market cars, as well, and they lend a unique look to a familiar sportscar.
This one has been extensively modified, from handsome Minilite-style alloys to a triple-Mikuni carburetor setup, to a roll bar. The seller infuriatingly refers to this as a “race” car, however, which by the full interior – which, in a rare red, is stunning – and beautiful paint it is clearly not. It might be fun for track days, however.
