1964 Austin-Healey 3000
With decent Jaguar E-Types fetching six figures, might the Big Healey be the next best thing? Smooth six-cylinder power, good handling, and great looks make this a good alternative.
This one is claimed to be unrestored, save a decade-old respray. It looks a bit too good for that claim, but who knows? The red leather looks taut on the seats, the engine looks nearly good enough to eat from, and the wire wheels look similarly pristine. It’s not as sexy as an early 100M, stripped of bumpers and strapped across the bonnet, but these later cars have their own charm.
It’s on eBay in South Carolina for $70k or offer.
