1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer
In the world of motor swaps, it is quite rare to find a car where a large engine has been replaced with a significantly smaller mill. Here is one of those times, where a 360ci V8 has been dumped in favor of a four-cylinder, 3.9 liter Cummins diesel out of a step van.
Save the telltale rattle, there is likely no performance tradeoff, other than better towing and mileage from the diesel. The Jeep looks a bit rough, with faded “wood” panels and ripped upholstery. These are classic trucks, loved by many around the country, and it shouldn’t take much to return this to glory.
It’s on eBay in Ontario with reserve not yet met.
