A sheep in wolf’s clothing

1968 Chevrolet Corvair

We love Corvairs, especially quick ones. This one has been built into a bit of a Yenko Stinger clone, but only cosmetically. Not many details are given, and considering the two-carb engine, two-speed automatic, lack of roll cage and the cheapo aftermarket reclining “racing” seats, it’s not likely this will get on track anytime soon.

That said, it wouldn’t be hard to swap a breathed-on 140 horse motor and 4 speed, toss a roll cage in, fit a real seat, and go chase down some Porsches at a low-key vintage event sometime. It looks the part.

It’s on eBay in Florida with reserve not yet met.1968 Chevrolet Corvair engine 1968 Chevrolet Corvair interior
