1962 Austin Healey 3000
Those three dashpots lined up with little matching aircleaners look impressive. A little extra breathing means a bit more power than the usual dual-carb setup on most Big Healeys. Apparently the triple-carb option was quite rare, especially on this early A-H 3000.
It’s still more of a grand touring sort of roadster, compared to the early four-cylinder cars. It’s a bit heavier, a bit more luxurious, but this BN7-chassis two-seater still has some of the racing DNA, including the lovely Austin inline six. The white over red two-tone looks magnificent, especially with the matching red leather.
It’s on eBay in Scottsdale for $90k or offer.
