1963 Austin Mini Cooper
Minis tend to appear for sale here in the States in four forms: perfectly restored to a better-than-factory condition; rust heaps; race cars; or Eighties/Nineties cars with illegal VIN swaps just three steps ahead of the NHTSA crusher.
This one is different. It’s been restored, certainly, with new paint some time ago, but save the later alloys, it’s not too polished. It’s a nice driver, certainly, with scrapes on the suspension and undercarriage showing that it is indeed driven. It’s a car we’d not be too concerned with taking for a nice long weekend drive – with a well stocked tool roll, naturally.
It’s on eBay in California with reserve not yet met.
