1971 Datsun 240Z: Car of the Day by Carchasers

Northern climates are unkind to old Japanese cars. The salt simply disintegrates cars that are in great mechanical condition, thus very few classics are seen in the snow belt.

This 1971 Datsun 240Z started life in Florida, but has been in Ohio for more than three decades. Careful storage has minimized the environmental impact. The car has been mothballed for fifteen years, so some recomissioning will likely be needed. The grey paint (an unusual color for the Z) looks absolutely perfect, as does the interior.

It’s on eBay in Mansfield, Ohio.1971 Datsun 240Z engine
