1999 Ferrari 456 GTA: Car of the Day by Carchasers
Few Maranello products could ever qualify as subtle. The 456 is perhaps one of the few. Front-engined, with four seats, it’s attractive, if not traffic-stoppingly beautiful like most Ferraris. With an automatic transmission, it should be a relatively undemanding car to drive on a daily basis.
The silver helps with the under-the-radar appeal, as well. With under 13k on the odo, it shouldn’t need much work, as the belts have been recently serviced. The interior, from outside, looks as exotic as most Ferraris should, but the big polished gearlever stands somewhat meekly in a single-plane automatic shift pattern, rather than the iconic gates seen on manual transmissions.
It’s on eBay in Cleveland for $62,500 or offer.
