1967 Morris Cooper: Car of the Day by Carchasers

So many restored cars originally fitted with smaller BMC A-series engines end up with a 1275cc version, it’s refreshing to see this Morris Cooper retain the original 998. The extra power is certainly nice, but there is something wonderful about an original engine.

Now the rest of the car has been gone through, down to bare metal, and looks to have been very nicely restored. The interior is as spare as a Mini should be, without the rally-spec (or catalog-spec) gear so often fitted. The Almond Green is a lovely non-BRG shade, too.

It’s on eBay in California for $20k or offer.
