Refreshingly NOT British Racing Green

Refreshingly NOT British Racing Green

1976 Triumph TR6: Car of the Day by Carchasers

So many old British sports cars get repainted either red, or BRG. This one wears a Seventies-appropriate lime green that stands out, in a good way. The included hardtop is a nice find, though the chances this should ever see weather where a dropped ragtop isn’t more appropriate should be quite slim.

These later cars are a bit choked down with emissions controls, as well as extra weight from the larger bumper overriders, but it should still do nicely in the twisties. Factory air-conditioning is fitted, though the seller fails to mention it’s operability. Safe to assume it doesn’t work. Again, that’s what the droptop is for.

It’s on eBay in Northern Virginia with reserve not yet met.
