Cleanest We’ve Seen: 1989 Toyota MR2 Supercharged

Cleanest We’ve Seen: 1989 Toyota MR2 Supercharged

Most Japanese classics of the Eighties are becoming scarce due to rust. Face it, they were not well rustproofed, and in Northern climates, most have returned to the earth via the tinworm.

Not this first-gen MR2 Supercharged. The seller claims this has the original paint, and was until recently a West Coast car. Everything looks as if it were on the showroom floor. These are wonderfully fun cars to drive, even in naturally-aspirated form, so this has some future collector potential.

It’s on eBay in New York with reserve not yet met.
