What hasn’t the venerable Chevrolet LSx V8 been swapped into? It’s lightweight, reliable, reasonably small (for a V8), and readily available, so the possibilities are seemingly endless. The Porsche 944 is a good option, as the well-balanced chassis should be able to easily handle the extra power. The swap seems to have been done pretty well, though there are some continuing faults mentioned – such as the non-operational speedometer and air conditioning – that really ought to be buttoned up before selling.
With the potential for at least double the stock horsepower with no visual clues to the change, this would be one heck of a sleeper for track days.
It’s on eBay in Arkansas for $15k or offer.
