As the Seventies wore on, sports cars got bogged down with increasing amounts of emissions gear. The TR6 wasn’t as affected as most competitors, as the six cylinder had more power than the contemporary fours. Nonetheless, the extra weight and visual bulk of the big bumper overriders is less than appealing.
But that all can be fixed, and starting with a sturdy foundation helps. This 1975 TR6 looks to be a very nice driver..not quite concours, but good enough to enjoy. The red paint looks to be in great condition, and the steel wheels look good, as well. The TR6 is one of the few LBCs that looks best without wires.
This one’s on eBay in Missouri for $17,900 or offer.
